A very fine Doulton Lambeth "Highland Cattle" Flower Ewer by Hannah Barlow and Edith Lupton. Of high handled form the ewer features an artistically incised panel of shaggy Highland cattle set against a rough moorland/ mountain background, this is framed and enhanced beautifully by Lupton's extremely fine borderwork featuring wheel motif's, stiff leaves and the most intricate enamel beadwork. 7 1/2" tall. Stamped with the Doulton Rosette mark and incised HBB 487, EDL 864 and Em (assistant). Dates to the late 1800's. We are experienced dealers in mid to high end ceramics, metalware and other items.
