A Fine Chiffonier Side Cabinet Attributed To Gillows Side Cabinet  Waterfall Bookcase Regency %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A Fine Quality Regency Rosewood Chiffonier Side Cabinet Attributed To Gillows. Inlaid with scrolling brass embellishments and stringing. The waterfall bookcase back having a carved foliate scroll
pediment above a shallow shelf. The frieze housing a drawer above two doors with arched
brass grilles backed in watered silk. Standing on Gillow style reeded bun feet.

A closely matching pediment can be seen in Susan E Stuart’s Gillows of Lancaster and London, Volume 1 Page 326 Plate 372.

Height: 132cm

Condition: Very Good. With minor restorations

Origin/Age: English, Regency, circa 1825.
