A superior quality Pair of Side Cabinets each having quarter mahogany Veneers to the fronts and sides which is framed with Solid Mahogany , Ormolu mounted through out , the Oak lined Dove Tail jointed drawers have the tops edged in Mahogany , the tops and interiors are Carrera Marble and have grey Veins .
These Cabinets were made by Frederick Schmit one of the greatest Cabinet makers in the second half of the 19th century , active in Paris at the Rue de Charonne starting in 1856 , he received Gold medals in the 1878 and 1889 Expositions Universelles in Paris . Buy from a trusted LAPADA dealer
