A rare and original example of a Cotswold School oak rush seated chair, designed by E.Gimson - known as design No 5a or the "Russell" chair - and was made by Edward Gardiner at Daneway c.1910. Superbly crafted in quarter sawn oak with pegged joints,

Offered in excellent original condition with good patina. Re-rushed.

Dimensions: Seat height 18", back height 38.5" and width 19" (at the front).
