A Burmantoft Faience Ceramic Pedestal Victorian  Faience Burmantoft
An English Faience ceramic column pedestal-great for displaying sculptures/flowers. The gold colour and glaze of this pedestal are fabulous and so in vogue. This pedestal was made by Burmantoft's art and faience pottery, and was produced by Messrs. Wilcock of Burmantofts Leeds England from 1880-1904. The company made various wares including wall tiles during that period, their items were also retailed by Howell and James who were a well known English reatiler during this period. The pedestal is fully marked and also features the pattern number 1421.
