A 17th Century Mule Chest.
A 17th mule chest, having a triple arcaded panelled frontage with split turnings, lozenges and turned buttons.
The chest has two drawers below, with later drawers bottoms probably replace in the 18th century.
There are owner initial carved to the top right and left and middle centre of the chest T.M.C .
The top lifts up to reveal the interior, having a candle box with the candle box lid unfortunately missing. The hinges on the coffer lid are later replacements.
Overall the chest has fantastic colour and patination and is in excellent condition.
