9ct Gold Fede Gimmel Opening Hands Engagement Ring
On offer is this absolutely amazing vintage 9 carat gold Fede Gimmel engagement ring.
It’s a rare and beautifully crafted piece with fantastic details of a male and female hand revealing a little heart as they open up. The heart has a tiny hole in the middle – it was probably set with a diamond originally, which is now missing.
The ring has a set of English hallmarks, but they are really tiny so I can’t quite make out the details. There are also some numbers and ‘375’ for the gold content stamped on it.
The front of the ring (at the hands holding) is about 7 – 8 mm tall.
Size: ‘P & ½’ – US 8
Condition: apart from the missing stone, very good.
A symbol of love & connection, this ring would make a fantastic gift to a special person.
