5 Section Lebus Oak Stacking Bookcase, c.1905
A good quality attractive stacking bookcase by British cabinet makers Harris Lebus and dating to circa 1905. In golden oak with Arts & Crafts styling it features a shaped gallery with dentil moulding to the top and five separate book sections including two with removable filing dividers. Each section has a typical glass lift and slide door with brass button knobs, original escutcheon stamped ‘The Lebus Bookcase’ and original 'H.L./L PATENT' locks.
In overall good condition, some fading, scrapes and light patches to the sides, a chip to be repaired in the top right corner of one of the doors (2nd up in photos).

The internal sizes are approximately

For moving this bookcase divides into seven sections.
