4 original Pel cantilever chairs made in the 1935 by Oliver Bernard from an original design by Mart Stam. The black seats and backrests have hardly a mark on them and the spotting on the chrome is very slight except around the lable. All of the chairs have the PEL metal lable riveted on the back at the bottom. These chairs are in exceptionally good condition and the best that we have seen. Provenance originally part of the interior decoration of the Savoy Cinema, Petersfield, in operation from 1935, designed by architect Leslie H Kemp of Kemp Tasker
