3 Door Walnut Wardrobe

Circa 1870. A mid Victorian three door burr walnut wardrobe. With a simple moulded cornice, three panel doors to the front, each of the panels finished in fine burr walnut, the two doors on the right open to reveal the original eight full-length pull-out trays, the left-hand side opens to reveal an uninterrupted interior with a hanging rail in the top and a small drawer in the bottom. Beneath the doors there is further moulding, and the whole piece rests on an enclosed plinth. The wardrobe is mellow in colour, clean and stylish.
