18th.C country walnut bureau of small proportions. The top, fall and drawers with feathered inset banding and cross banded edges. Canted corners and further cross banding to the sides. Ogee cross grain moulding to the base with shaped bracket feet. The interior of 4 drawers, pigeon holes, inlaid door and sliding well cover. Shaped brass handles, escutcheons and axe head pulls. Oak and pine linings. Condition - Various bumps and bruises and slight veneer shrinkage, all commensurate with age and use. Fully functional. Good colour.
