Fabulous early 20th.c. butcher’s block with drawers c.1930. Almost 6 feet long with a monolithic 7” deep slab of end grain beech blocks riven and worn to a series of beautifully smooth curves by years of use. Surrounded by a frame with slots for knives, iron tightening bolts and large exposed dove tails. On a sturdy beech base with square legs and castors, featuring two large drawers with massive chromed ring handles. Superb colour.
