1st Period Worcester Trembleuse Cup & Saucer
First period Worcester porcelain trembleuse coffee and cup saucer with partially reeded moulded detail and painted with lambrequin pattern borders.
Provenance: The Wright Collection. Reference: Worcester Blue & White Porcelain 1751-1790. Branyan, French & Sandon, border number 48.
The cup measures 7.3cm (2 7/8") high, 7cm (2 3/4") rim to rim and 9.5cm (3 3/4") rim to handle. The saucer measures 13cm (5 1/8") wide and 2.5cm (1") high. Condition is very good: there are a few small, shallow chips and frits to the footrim of the cup, no other damage or restoration and light surface wear. There is a light scattering of kiln dust dots in the ribbing, a bit more concentrated to the cup foot rim but obscured with the painted border. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
Price includes UK shipping. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
We wish to ensure all our customers are happy with their purchases and offer a full no quibble return policy for all items returned within 14 days. We ask that returns are notified within 7 days where possible. Return postage is the buyer's responsibility in terms of cost and safeguarding the item through transit.
