A large, rare and impressive 19th Century Scottish antique saltglazed stoneware figure of a soldier, most probably a dragoon, depicted sitting.

Sourced from a private Norfolk collection.

A similar example with damage achieved a sum of approx £1500 in Bonham's ceramics sale, December 2008.

Condition - right hand, bottle and tankard restored.
