Delightful little late 19th.c. rosewood writing table and sewing work box c.1890. Useful small size, just 27½” wide. Small lockable cabinet flanked with two small drawers over a leather writing surface. Single drawer below fitted with pin cushions and dividers for threads below which is a large work drawer for embroidery etc. Raised on slim tapering legs with original brass and ceramic castors. Rosewood veneers with inlaid detail. Original brass handles. Excellent condition. Key supplied.
