Large late 19th.c. framed embroidery of a peacock and flowers c.1880. Peacock and flower heads are rendered with an unusual raised stump work technique in high relief against a Berlin woolwork background. Presented behind glass in the original ebonised frame with a carved and pierced frieze at the top and scratch carved decoration highlighted in gilt.
