A particulary good example of British bamboo antique furniture here in the form of this fine little bureau side cabinet c.1890. Pagoda shaped top with bevelled mirror, two small shelves and attractive bamboo work panels. Over a lacquered panel desk top, two mahogany lined drawers and three small cupboards and shelves. With black lacquered papier maché door fronts decorated with birds and flowers and finished with oriental pattern embossed paper to the sides and back. Excellent condition, original throughout, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
