19th Century Venetian glass overmantle mirror
Antique 19th Century large quality Venetian glass overmantle or wall mirror (C1850-1880). A very rare mirror with a great look.
A charming mirror, that is full of age and character. No loose joints and no woodworm.
Overall maximum dimensions: 132cmH x 81cmW x 7cmD. Central mirrored glass 70cmH x 52cmW.
The mirrored glass is in good condition with light to medium oxidation and other age related imperfections. There is a curved line of oxidation approximately 8" long on the RHS on/near the bevel edge of the central mirror (see pics), but this doesn't seem to detract. One small piece of glass has been replaced with plain mirrored glass, lower LHS (see pics).
In good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, losses, wear and imperfections, as is to be expected. Later cardboard back.
