A fabulous 19th century (c1850) lithograph print of a portrait of Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington. Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, KG, GCB, GCH, PC, FRS (1 May 1769 – 14 September 1852) was an Anglo-Irish soldier and Tory statesman who was one of the leading military and political figures of 19th-century Britain, serving twice as Prime Minister. He won a notable victory against Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. A print identical to this is held by The British Museum and can be seen online by searching 'Museum number1890,0415.392' The frame is original and in fair condition with some marks as can be seen in photos. The print is also in good condition, with one small rip to the right hand side as shown in photos.
