An attractive 19th century pine box settle, this has a central hinged lid to access the box section which runs the length of the bench.

- Panelled back and seat front.
- Deep colour from age and long use.
- Box area under the seat which extends right across, with a removable division board at the centre.
- Turned arm supports.
- Tactile arms, smoothed from long use.

This will make a great piece for a large hall, entrance area or vestibule, or will make nice seating for a restaurant, pub or bistro with a period atmosphere.

In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There is some old cracking to the seat which is in keeping with its age and use. One of the wooden supports inside the box originally used to hold the dividing board in place has been removed to allow the board to be taken out.
