Wonderfully bold and unusual architectural freestanding pale oak writing table with drawer to each end. This quality table has an inset gilt tooled leather writing surface over a panelled frieze with an ash lined drawer to each end. All raised on solid square legs with bulbous shoulders and tapering to flat square feet.
English/Scottish : Circa 1900
Note: The use of ash in drawer linings is often associated with Scottish cabinet makers.
