19th Century Mahogany Reading or Music Stand

A very fine quality piece, the stand has an attractive bobin turned base with a brass upright column which carries a small mahogany table top, with a concealed book rest with page clasps
The Table top can be adjusted to multiple angles and heights

This handsome Music Stand would also be a useful piece to hold notes for public speaking or perhaps as a menu holder in a Bistro Bar

The stand is between 26 and 42” high and 20” across at floor level
