Mid 19th century portable table. A superb design, it could be taken in coaches, carriages, into gardens, around the house...a most useful table!
This example is a good model, made of quality mahogany with a rich undisturbed surface,. It has nicely shaped legs. The 2 piece top is brass hinged and locked into position by a pivoting bar. Circa 1850
