19th Century inlaid mahogany folding sofa table.
Antique quality late 19C Georgian / Regency revival inlaid mahogany folding sofa table.
Would also make a great desk, lamp, side, console or occasional table.
It is rare to find this kind of extending table, with the large sofa width (as opposed to shorter Pembrook style). Period castors, with some wear as you would expect.
Solid, no loose joints and no woodworm.
This is a beautiful item, with a lovely age, colour and patina (the top has been refinished historically as you would expect).
The table is solid with no loose joints and the drawers slides freely. Note that there are two active drawers to one side and two dummies to the other.
Lovely clean lines and simple plain design.
