Antique quality C1890 carved walnut sofa, settee or chaise longue.

Rare and attractive....better than most....lovely detailed carving and great quality upholstery.

Very solid, heavy and strong, with no loose joints. Good comfortable sprung seat, with no nasty lumps and bumps.

Great proportions and styling, which would look amazing in the right location.

The sofa has been very professionally upholstered in a quality upholstery fabric. Just look at the pattern matching, piping and shape!

Overall maximum dimensions:

176cmW x 88cmD x 107cmH (45cmH seat - 37cmH when sat on).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture. The upholstery is not new, but has little wear and no major marks (just a couple of minor marks and signs of use....nothing bad). We have not inspected beneath the upholstery. The veneer (on the bottom rail (runs around the sides and back, just above the legs) has a little unevenness/ripple, but this isn't very noticeable). Just a few extinct woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure.

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
