19th Century French Oak Farmhouse Coffee Table
A lovely 3 plank top pale oak table full of character. It was originally used for storage with the top lifting up. There are still leather straps that were used for keeping it closed. The legs have now been reduced to make it a coffee table.
This rustic table is very solid and heavy, there are no loose joints or wobbles but the wood, being two hundred years old has marks and shows signs of an interesting life.
Being French there are some old woodworm holes that have been treated and are dead.
