An elegant 19th Century French carved giltwood porters chair with an unusual canopy top which is typical of the form but unusual in shape. Having a decoratively carved frame throughout with original patinated gilding. The enclosed wings leading to down swept arms with padded arm rests. Standing on turned and fluted tapering legs. Will possibly need upholstery.
