We are mad about the grain and colour of elm and this little blanket box/coffer shows both to full advantage. Dating from the 19th century this charming box has a plinth base, brass carrying handles and escutcheon plate.

The condition is good, the hinges are sound and the interior very clean, ideal for storing bedding etc.

This versatile coffer would make a great coffee table, extra storage at the end of a bed or in the hall.
