A superb Victorian camphor wood campaign chest in two parts with two short over three long drawers with ebony stringing. This excellent military chest has its original brass corner plates, flush handles and substantial side carrying handles to both sections. The colour and patina is excellent and the condition is very good. There is a minor crack to the inside of one short drawer, but this cannot be seen and the drawer is still sturdy. A wonderful 19th Century military chest that offers superb storage and decorative appeal.
