A naïve gouache painting of a Brigantine sailing vessel, Wm G Cogswell, in full sail flying the US flag and a further flag with the ship's name. Curiously, the name Wm L Cogswell is written under the painting.

This is a lovely example of naïve art and the painting itself is in excellent condition, but the frame shows signs of wear with small pieces of moulding missing as can be seen in the photographs.

The painting measures 51.5cm x 41.5cm and the outer frame is 58cm x 48cm All items are sold with a 14 day money back guarantee.
