A high quality 19th Century Portuguese rosewood and walnut centre table raised on graduated bobbin turned stretchers. The beautifully grained and richly coloured rosewood top is surrounded by decorative carving which is repeated on the frieze. This decorative frieze has two opening drawers to the front and dummy drawers to the sides and back. All drawers have open fret brass escutcheons. The table is in excellent condition. The small dimensions of this outstanding Portuguese centre table add to its many features making it easy to place in any interior.
