19C Victorian walnut partners desk writing table
Antique late Victorian 19C walnut partner's writing table.
This is a truely lovely piece of antique furniture with nice proportions and the most fantasic age colour and patina.
This piece of furniture is in original condition and has not be over restored. It is quite rare and desirable. This is a pretty character piece.
The table is solid and all of the drawers (2 on each side) slide well. Lovely patinated leather top (may or may not be original).
Period brass and ceramic castors (some wear).
No woodworm.
This is a nice clean quality example....veneer on softwood construction, with a hardwood edge to top and hardwood legs.
Overall dimensions 1220mmW x 915mmD x 770mmH (615mm knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, distortion, wear, imperfections, scratches, chips, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture and generally desirable. No keys and the locks are consequently untested.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
