19C Victorian mahogany wind out dining table
Antique 19th Century (possibly early 20C) Victorian mahogany wind out extending dining table with one 1 leaf.
Great period castors and we have a winding handle.
Carved border, with perimeter skirt which conceals the mechanism (with or without leaf).
This is a beautiful item, with a lovely age, colour and patina.
The top has been refinished recently, but it retains it's character and charm.
The table is solid with no loose legs, and the mechanism works well.
Lovely proportions and styling, with a great look.
1750mmL (inc. 375mm leaf) x 1060mmW x 745mmH (635mm high knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture. The escutcheon from the winder hole is missing.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able-bodied persons for our driver to assist with carrying.
