19C Victorian folding tea card side console table
Antique 19C Victorian (or possibly a little earlier) folding tea card side console table.
This is a truely lovely piece of antique furniture with nice proportions and the most fantasic age colour and patina.
This piece of furniture is in original condition and has not be over restored. It is quite rare and desirable. This is a pretty character piece. Lovely dark flame mahogany veneer to the frieze. An unusual and rare oak lined frieze drawer, which slides freely.
The table is heavy, with no loose joints.
No woodworm.
This is a nice clean quality example....a special find!
Overall dimensions 920mmW x 450mmD (905mmD when open) x 730mmH (710mmH when open).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, distortion, wear, imperfections, scratches, chips, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture and generally desirable. There is an historic repair to the gate leg, but all is solid now, and a little veneer cracking around the frieze, but nothing very unsightly.
