Pink and blue Wedgwood Ravilious Alphabet mugs don't come any earlier than this. An original 'first run' 1937 example - CL6260 and 8cm high. Subsequent runs through until the end of 1938 were slightly taller at 8.5cm. Also notice how the pink banding continues through the handle rather than stopping short on either side.
