All Original Circa 1911 12" Western Electric Hawthorn "Tank" Table Fan. Manufactured By The Westinghouse Electric Co. And Sold To Western Electric Who Supplied Them To The Market Under Their Brand Name. This Beautiful All Original Example Was Just Acquired From A Private Collection. Brass Components Have Wonderful Original Patina. This Example Is Very Desirable For Many Reasons And The Cage Badge Is One Of Those Features. We Have Completely Disassembled And Serviced The Fan For Another 100 Plus Years Of Service. Both Oil Cups Have Been Cleaned Of All Old Hardened Oil, New Oil And Wicks Were Installed For Good Lubrication Of Mechanical Parts. The Wire From Base To Motor And Power Cord And Plug Have Been Updated For Safe Operation. Excellent Fan For Everyday Use.
