18thC Welsh Pine Box Settle
A beautiful traditional Welsh pine Box Settle purchased from a stunning period farmhouse in south Cardiganshire.
Of highly desirable West Wales type these iconic Welsh sgiws were to be originally found in cottages, taverns and farmhouses often in the kitchen or beside the fireplace.
Ever so comfy this wonderful Settle would work well in any room. Strong and sturdy with fabulous warm and nutty colour true to age. True antique Welsh settles like this one have become increasingly hard to find especially examples as pretty as this one.
Honest historic repairs to feet, otherwise completely original and in amazing order.
