18thC Oak Farmhouse Refectory Dining Table
A superb mid 18th century oak and fruitwood farmhouse dining table of desirable form and dimensions. Measuring 5ft 10" in length this table will easily seat six people. The stunning cherry wood plank top features a superb grain and a wonderful warm nutty colour, the base is of heavy slow grown oak with beautiful barrel turned legs and tactile gently wear. Fitted with two long end drawers of shallow depth as to not detract from the comfortable leg room.
Surface and patina are excellent throughout and it is a strong and stable table suitable for everyday use with just a very number of historic worm holes to mention, the superb top being full of character with historic knife marks, a number of small nail heads and scratches all adding to the desirable appearance.
It has perfect dimensions being a good height, good width and with plenty of leg room, also being in durable oak and attractive cherry wood it ticks all the boxes for a great country dining table. Further images are available please ask.
It measures Length 5ft 10" = 178cm Height 30" = 76cm Width 29.5" = 75cm Leg room 24" = 60cm.
