18thc Oak Farmhouse Dining Table
A beautiful late 18th century solid oak farmhouse dining table of desirable form and dimensions. Measuring 6ft 2" in length this table will easily seat six to eight people. The stunning oak plank top features a superb grain pattern and a wonderful medium colour, the base which is fitted with one end drawer having a wonderfully contrasting darker colour.
Surface and patina are excellent throughout and it is a strong and stable table suitable for everyday use with just a very number of historic worm holes to two legs to mention. Having been professionally restored by the previous owner who had the top refitted to remove the gaps between the boards and replace the worn centre stretcher with period timber, leaving this table in exceptional order.
It has extremely sought after dimensions being a good height, good width and with plenty of leg room, also being in oak throughout it ticks all the boxes for a great country dining table. It measures Length 6ft 2" Height 31" Width 34" Leg room 24.5".
