Charming mid 18th.c. oak coffer c.1760. Panelled lid with thumb moulded edge over three panels across the front each with original carved decoration of a unusual stylized plant form. Fitted with a small candle box inside.Panelled sides and rear in solid oak throughout. Some strengthening repairs inside the lid. Otherwise excellent colour and condition cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
Dimensions: width 50″, depth 22″, height 25″.
