A very good quality 18th century Dutch marquetry inlaid bureau bookcase. Having an architectural cornice, two glazed doors, a fall front bureau and all standing on turned bun feet. The wonderfully bold and fine quality inlaid marquetry detail of flowers, birds and vases. The fall opening to reveal drawers, a slide over a well, all with inlay. 2240mm high, 990mm wide and 570mm deep. Circa 1780 W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
