18th Century French Commode in Mixed Woods %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Hutton-Clarke Antiques is pleased to offer this elegant 18th century French commode, crafted in richly figured mixed woods, including walnut.

The serpentine front is adorned with striking geometric parquetry veneers, echoed in the bold starburst design on the top and sides. The three drawers retain their original brass handles and escutcheons, complementing the warm tones and fine patina of the timber.

Raised on shaped feet and beautifully proportioned, this is a decorative yet practical piece with excellent colour and presence — a fine example of 18th century French craftsmanship.
Height 87 cm, width 128 cm, depth 68 cm
