18th century English walnut chest of drawers
Lovely proportioned 18th century English walnut chest of drawers with banding and string inlays.
Fabulous warm walnut colouring to the chest and the ( not original ) solid brass handles work very well for the period, being a pierced back plate.
The condition is good throughout with no signs of previous restoration and just the usual signs of age as you would expect on such a piece at 250 + years.
The drawers all run smoothly and retain their original locks, although I don't have keys for them, I will try to locate something suitable.
Good decorative chest of drawers which would work well for bedroom storage, but is certainly a good enough piece to work elsewhere, such as a living room or hall piece.

34” or 86.5cm high
39 1/2” or 100cm wide
