A superb Mahogany Gentleman's Library Writing Table, Circa 1780. Having wonderful proportion and colour throughout this understated high quality piece. The table having 3 working drawers to each side and the centre drawer being a through drawer, containing the original leathered writing slide. All the drawers Ash lined with solid Mahogany fronts, retaining the original brass lacquered swan neck handles. The moulded top retaining the original dark brown tooled leather with cross-banded surround. The whole raised on square tapering legs terminating in the original brass castors. Good even colour with good lustre to the high quality Mahogany.
