17thc marriage chest dated 1663.Three carved panels to the front, the central one being dated.four plain panels to the lid, panelled sides.Original hinges.

It is missing the cleats from either side of the lid, but these have been gone for a long time. There is one replacement board inside. Good colour.Some signs of old worm. Signs of wear, knocks, scrapes. consistent with age and use.

Approx.58.75" wide x 23" deep x 34" high.
