This is a good 17th century oak 6 plank coffer or sword chest with a gorgeous colour and antique patina dating from around 1690. The chest has much character, with chip carved detail to the edges and original hand forged ironwork hinges, lock plate and original escutcheon.
It’s had some sensitive restoration over the years as seen in the photos and is still a good sound chest with much charm and very useful.
The chest is a practical size for a coffee table or storage and measures 90 cms long 37 cms deep by 50 cms high.

UK delivery can be arranged with our local courier and costs £60 plus vat to most areas. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE AWAY UNTIL DECEMBER 1st.
