Fabulous 19th.c. mahogany extending dining table c.1880. Opening on a patented corkscrew mechanism from 68” to 150” it will comfortably seat six people down each side (14 in total). With four removable solid mahogany leaves (one being a matched replacement) on a very heavy telescopic hardwood frame with six turned legs with original porcelain castors. The middle legs are height adjustable to stop the table bowing on an uneven floor. Overhauled in our workshops, some marks and wear to the top which has been simply cleaned and waxed, rather than stripped and repolished.
