Wade BOAC 747 Ashtray
Wade BOAC 747 ashtray. BOAC (British Overseas Airlines Corp.) was the predecessor of British Airways. The 747 depicted on this ashtray (manufactured by Wade) was first put into service at BOAC in 1969. The airline merged with BEA in 1974 to form British Airways. This is a fantastic piece in excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
