Vintage 'Rya' Rug in Brown, Russet, Orange
A fabulous mid century shag pile 'rya' wool rug in autumnal shades in exceptional condition. This rug is very soft and luxurious with extra long pile, and has almost no signs of wear.
This richly coloured vintage rug was made using the Scandinavian rya technique and as such has a long 3" pile. Unfortunately it's lost its label, but is believed to be wool with jute backing. The colour is a rich brown with a central pattern in shades of russet, orange and beige. Measuring 120cm by 75cm, it makes a fantastic accent rug to bring a dash of mid century colour and style to your room.
The rug has no marks, holes or thin patches, and smells clean and fresh. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions.
