We are offering this Victorian Porcelain and Brass Oil Lamp, now converted to electricity, and new shade from the makers of the Downton Abbey, Mr. Selfridge TV Series lampshades.

The base is in olkive green Porcelain and made in two halves, with a tall column wrapped around with beige vine leaves, tendrils and grapes, above a decorative brass band, then a porcelain base with more vine leaves around it, all placed on a square brass base with corner fans and dished circular centre, terminating in four splayed feet.

The Shade is in the 'Dorchester' style and is made in deep cream silk Brocade, with gold fringe, gold braid and bears gold long tassels.

The lamp has been newly rewired with antique pale gold coloured, twisted, braided silk covered flex and has all new fittings, including safer switched lampholder, plug and shade carrier. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician prior to use.
